Odyssey² Adventure Club Membership Certificate

Starting in the Winter 1983 issue, Odyssey² Adventure magazine advertised the option to form local chapters of the Odyssey² Adventure Club, "a national organization of ODYSSEY² owners bound to the traditions of gamesmanship and competition." At least five members were required to form a local chapter. For the application cost of $3.00 per member, the club received this certificate, along with membership cards and magazine subscriptions for each member.

Odyssey² Adventure Club Membership Card

Each member of a local chapter of the Odyssey² Adventure Club received one of these cards, proclaiming the bearer to be an Official Charter Member. The cards are black, and feature the Odyssey² Adventure Club emblem as well as a place to write the bearer's name.

Brazilian Odyssey Clube Card

A credit-card-sized, plastic ID card signifying membership in Brazil's Odyssey Club. The cardholder's name is printed with raised letters, indicating that each card was made specially. It bears a facsimile signature of someone with the title "Director." Print on the back states that the card confers to the cardholder all the rights provided in the Statutes for as long as the Odyssey Club's constitution is in effect. Each card came with a member number. It's not known conclusively that the numbers were issued in sequence, but it seems possible. The highest number I've seen on a card is 7156, which could indicate that at least 7,000 of these cards were made. However, I have seen photos of only two examples, so it's doubtful that many have survived.

Odyssey Clube Diploma de Sócio

A photo of the "Odyssey Club Partner's Diploma" can be found on page 9 of the third issue of the Brazilian magazine Odyssey Aventura. Similar to other club membership certificates, this was apparently available to subscribers who formed local Odyssey clubs.

Commander-ROM Clubkarte

A two-toned photo of this can be found on page 11 of the first 1984 issue of Commander-ROM, the Philips club magazine published in Germany. Looks like another credit-card sized club membership card. Unfortunately I've never seen a real example of one of these cards, so I don't know its actual coloring.

G7000 Videogames Club Pin

A circular metal pin denoting membership in the Philips G7000 Videogames Club. It's white, and features a white Odyssey²/Videopac "man" against a red background. As you might guess from its use of the term "G7000," this pin hails from Europe.
