C7061 Game Selector# C7061

he C7061 is a clone of the advanced C7060 Game Selector multicart, authorized by its creator René van den Enden for on-demand manufacture by Packrat Video Games, LLC. This is touted as an "unlimited" release, but since Packrat is a one-man operation, it will never be made in huge numbers.

The C7061 is identical to the C7060, using the same PCB and game contents. The only differences are cosmetic. Aside from having a different number on the cart label and manual cover, the C7061 comes with an insert sheet listing the included games. An index card is available upon request. Packrat sells it in a universal plastic case, although it can be purchased without the case to save on shipping costs. The manual fits in a standard Videopac plastic box if desired. The C7061 went on sale April 17, 2019, with an original cost of $60 plus shipping.

The C7061 is still for sale but Packrat has been forthcoming about potential delays in delivery. Homebrew production is always a labor of love done on people's spare time, and sometimes hobbies have to be put on the back burner. Packrat is still accepting orders, but will not take payments until they are ready to fulfill orders again. So if you want a C7061, you may have to wait a while... but it's worth it!
