The C7060 Game Selector, created by Videopac hardware guru René van den Enden, is an advanced multicart for Odyssey², Videopac, and compatible systems. Previous multicarts, based on boards developed by John Dondzila, required game selectiton through the manipulation of physcial DIP switches on the outside of the cartridge. The C7060 introduced an on-screen menu for selecting games via joystick control. It even features a "Find" feature to search for a specific game. In all, the C7060 contained over 200 games, including many that were not available on previous multicarts. Some games even supported automatic PAL/NTSC detection. PCBs were manufactured using all new parts.
The C7060 was first released on Dec. 8, 2012. A total of 50 cartridges with manuals were made, and sold for 44 Euro plus shipping. The first 20 buyers had the option of bundling it with a Voice+ Module – a hardware add-on designed by Bas Kornalijnslijper that allowed American Voice modules to fit into a standard G7400 console. When purchased with the C7060, the Voice+ module cost 11 Euro plus shipping. If purchased separately, Voice+ cost 15 Euro plus shipping.
Two additional runs of the C7060 were produced; the first on Apr. 22, 2013, and the second on Jan. 12, 2014. Fifty copies were produced for each run, meaning that 150 C7060 units were made overall. It always sold for 44 Euro plus shipping. No further runs of the C7060 will be produced as it has been replaced by the C7061 Game Selector.
