Let me preface this review by saying, I wouldn't be reviewing Odyssey² games if I didn't love the system. After all, it was my best childhood friend. But enough of my own idiosyncrasies -- the back of the War of Nerves! box reads, "A fast-moving electronic strategy game." Now anyone who has ever played this game knows it's anything but fast-moving. You're a general you see, and you have four little Odyssey² men working for you. You're trying to get your men to touch the opposing general before one of his men touches you. The O² men can freeze each other by shooting horizontally. You can unfreeze your men by touching them with your general. Pressing the ACTION button summons your men, thus bringing them to you. All of the action is very slowwwww. There is no computer opponent here so you need two players. All I can say is good luck finding another player with enough patience to sit through the WAR OF NERVES!
