Loony Balloon

This game was never released in the United States; you could only buy it in Europe and Brazil. It is also available on the Odyssey² Multicart. However you play it, you'll find it one of the most unusual games of all time. In Loony Balloon, you're a kid on a trip to the amusement park. You get points by riding the park rides -- including a slide, a merry-go-round, and one of those airplane-shaped rides on a large spring. But be careful -- you're carrying your favorite balloon on this trip, and if you let it touch an obstacle and burst, the game ends as you throw a tantrum. Let your balloon float on its own while you enjoy the rides and climb the trees, but be sure to grab it before it touches anything! Once you've ridden some rides, exit the top of the screen to visit a new park with a different layout. And keep moving! If you stand still too long, the wind (a cloud with a face) appears and blows the balloon out of your grasp. Loony Balloon is a challenging action/strategy game, as fun as it is bizarre.
