Tesla Roadster's Journey to Mars# T1

On February 6, 2018, a Tesla Roadster belonging to Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, was launched into space as the payload of the company's first test flight of its Falcon Heavy rocket. A mannequin, dressed in a spacesuit and nicknamed "Starman," was placed in the driver's seat of the car, which continues to orbit the Sun.

Homebrew publisher Videopac Is @live commemorated this historic event by releasing René van den Enden's special hack of the unique Brazilian game Missão Impossível/Viagem Programada (English title: Mission Impossible/Programmed Trip). The hack changed the main spaceship graphic into the Tesla Roadster and included the lyrical tribute to David Bowie from the publisher's earlier "Zero Edition" release. Only 26 copies of Tesla Roadster's Journey to Mars were released on June 6, 2019. The game featured new cover artwork and was assigned Videopac number T1. Twenty copies included a Hot Wheels '08 Tesla Roadster toy car, which was similarly released to commemorate the launch. The Videopac game originally sold for 42 Euro.
