Bas Kornalijnslijper issued reproduction cartridges of the unreleased Spider-Man prototype for the first time on April 9, 2006, at the Retro Computer Meeting in Scheidam (Netherlands). After the meeting, cartridges were available through his web site. Videopac #65 was assigned to the game, although had it been released in the 1980s it would have been published by Parker Bros., who did not follow Philips' numbering system. A total of 65 cartridges were made, along with an English manual and box insert featuring art from the 2004 film Spider-Man 2. The original release sold for 27.50 Euro plus shipping. Videopac plastic boxes were not available.

A second release of Spider-Man happened later the same year at the Nov. 26 Retro Computer Meeting in Schiedam. The box insert for this edition featured artwork of Spider-Man climbing a building – a desktop background image used across the Internet. It's not known how many copies of the 2nd Edition were produced. It originally sold for 27.50 Euro.

On October 26, 2007, Classic Consoles Center issued a cardboard box for Spider-Man that was designed in the same style as original Parker Bros. boxes from the 1980s. It was modeled after the box for the Atari 2600 version of the game. Only 50 boxes were made, and originally sold for 25 Euro.

On June 6, 2016, reproductions of Spider-Man were released yet again – this time by publisher Videopac Is @live.

This is a PAL game, but is playable on NTSC Odyssey² machines with some minor graphical glitches.
