Robot City# 1

The first release from homebrew publisher RetroGenesis was a reproduction of the unreleased prototype Robot City. The first release occurred Dec. 12, 2009, and consisted of 55 cartridges. A second "Limited Edition" release occurred Jan 22, 2010, and consisted of 25 units. The Limited Edition included Andy Ryals's Videopac/Odyssey² Prototype Book – a digitial book published on CD-ROM – which contains a wealth of information and photographs of prototypes known to collectors at the time. The standard release of Robot City sold for 35 Euro; the Limited Edition sold for 45 Euro. Both editions included a Videopac plastic box. The Prototype Book was later sold by itself.

Copies of the Robot City repros were sold for a time by Good Deal Games, but their stock is now sold out.

Fittingly, the cover art for Robot City seems to have been inspired by covers from Issac Asimov's Robot City book series.
