The Brazilian game known as Comando Noturno was never released outside that country, but was apparently considered for release in Europe. Following the discovery of a complete European PAL prototype titled Nacht Vlucht ("Night Fighter"), which featured some graphic details not seen in the Brazilian version, homebrew publisher RetroGenesis produced a limited run of reproduction cartridges under the name NightFighter. Unlike most homebrew releases, RetroGenesis claimed to have used all-new cartridge cases, EPROMS and PCB's with no recycled parts.
NightFighter was released starting Sept. 9, 2010. The release consisted of a cartridge, plastic box, and English manual. Forty-five were made. Originally sold for £39.99 (which included shipping costs anywhere in the world).
