Interpol is the first fan-made reproduction of an Odyssey²/Videopac prototype. It was released in September 2000 by Silicium (Nico "sap1" Sapin, René Spéranza, Sylvain "SlyDC" de Chantal). Silicium assigned it Videopac number 61, since the original run of Videopacs ended at #60. (It's not known what number Philips planned to assign it, if any.) The game is complex, so Nico Sapin had to figure out how to play it and produce a manual for it, in French. Sylvain de Chantal produced the English translation, and René Spéranza designed original cover art for the release. Silicium also credited John Dondzilla, Rikard Ljungkvist, Jaro Gielens, and Olivier Boisseau for help in producing it.

The repros came with an authentic-looking cartridge, Videopac plastic box, and laser-printed manual (available in English or French). The game was PAL and would not function on NTSC Odyssey² machines. The original releases were numbered. Some sources claim that 50 copies were produced, but this is not confirmed. It originally sold for $12 plus shipping.
